A guy I work with has them on his Dodge Dakota pick up. They go well with his stick on hood scoops. Everyone makes fun of him everyday about it but he thinks it looks good.

I see them on at least 30 cars a day in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. No joke. See even more in the hoods. I love it when they stick them on all crooked and unevenly spaced.

those are bad. the "escalade" versions are worse, because the guys next door who install them in triplets on stuff use a file to make them fit. all day screech fest.

but the worst...and I mean WORST I have seen are bolt on Lake pipes...on a dodge neon. I shot hot coffee out of my nose while driving. ( I know, I know...don't drink and drive.) stained a perfectly good shirt (well, worse than it was earlier that morning) and couldn't smell anything other than Hills Bros for 2 damn days. it also had a wing. I am not talking about a spoiler, but a WING like you would see on the top of a 70's peterbilt. giant polished aluminum *******. I would tell you what the driver looked like, except he way laying down.

You guys laugh now, but just wait. 40 years in the future guys will be paying huge bucks for those "old school" port holes. People back in the 50's probably made fun of others putting dummy spotlights and fake lake pipes on their cars. Bad taste is witnessed in every era of automotive customizing. Certain things work better than others. I agree that the stick on **** and clamp on this are just a way for dumb***es to think they are cool. I have to admit that I was into sport compact cars about 5 years ago. I had some dumb**** on my car that didn't do anything for performance. I finally saw the light.

Get this. I saw a guy at a gas station with DECALS of fake vents stuck the DOORS of his 2006 Mustang!?:confused: Me being a smart ***, I walk on over like I'm interested in them. Yea, I can be a real ***hole when I want to. He tells me how he wanted a cl***ic, retro look for his car. It took all my concentration and tongue biting not to start laughing my *** off! I wished him well and watched him leave. Then, I sat in my car a laughged like the world was ending!:D

What really cracks me up is when they put 'em on all crooked. Like, the least they could do is draw a straight line before they ruin thier car! I guess they get all excited and start shaking while putting them on.:D

Yep, they are all over D.F.W.. It does not help when they are on the Skittles car, Cheetos car, or the McDonalds car. You would think they were getting paid to do that to there cars.

Consider yourself lucky, cuz thay are all over the place here too. At least I'm not seeing the lights on the windshield sprayers and valve stems anymore. Since we are on the subject of ugly ****, whatever happened to the spinner craze?

I'll take that bet...got a guy I've seen on the way to work a few times with a mid-90's Corolla DX, ****py "spin even after you've stopped" hubcaps from Wal-mart (that spin at different speeds, nonetheless) and a spoiler "fabricated" outta 1/2" plywood.

He must get so much tail....
