My web site has a lot of modified Studebaker photos but not too many are traditional customs. My 4 door sedan is customized but is not a tail dragger.

You can view my Bullet Nose Paradise web site by clicking on this link.

Hey, I built that red 50 2 door sedan. I live in Wichita Kansas and I sold it for some stupid reason a few years back. I kicked myself every since, but I recently bought a 50 Business Coupe that I'm completely going through now. I have the body off of the frame right now doing all of my firewall, ******/driveshaft tunnel, and floor board work now. My ch***is is pretty much completed. I have a Mustang II front end, S-10 rear end, Big Block Ford FE 390 w/ C6 auto ******, and so on. I'd be glad to answer any questions about that red one that you have, but I don't know what has been done to it since I sold it. I wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of it inside and out to see what has changed.

I knew a guy on Vashon that was building a bullet nose

he used a fastback top off a '49 Chev

    and Cadillac tail lights.

he moved and I lost contact.

any Northwest guys know a Don with a car like that?

I know a fellow named Don that has a car like you are talking about and he has shown it in WA. I'm not sure where Vashon is but he lives in Hawthorne, CA.

Here are pictures of his Studeolet. The car was in primer for many years but it now has been painted and the taillights are from a Buick.

It's just like it was when you had it I think. The old man that has it now bought from a dealer in KS about two or three years ago. The headliner is still the factory one, but it has some higher seats in it. It's a 20 footer though, the old body needs some work.

Well, it is nice to know that it is still kickin' around. The guy that bought it from me was the dealer... he is in El Dorado Kansas. I had put a real quickie paint job on it, but he kind of let everything run down on it compared to when I had it. I never did finish the interior, it just had the Honda Accord front buckets in it. It was my daily driver for a few years and never had any problems. I rebuilt the engine and ****** out of an El Camino and put it in it. I put the Mustang II front and a Maverick rear under it. I still don't know why I sold it though... I'm hoping to get my Business Coupe up and going soon now. I'm doing it a lot more extensive than the 2 door sedan. I would like to come across another set of Buick portholes for the hood of my coupe also.
