This weekend it was Sweden's biggest car show (but absolutely not the best) and it was time to show my car for the first time. Here is where truck was placed quite cool spot This is before the show started thats why its not much people in the pic, next day it was 24 000 people and after 4 days 76 000 people had seen the show Next to John DÀgostinos car
Scandinavians have GOOD taste in HOT RODS,Your Truck looks FUCKIN' cool! I'd like to make the trip to Sweden/Scandinavia in my Coupe once I finish the Damn thing.I've read about your runs in Rolls'n'Pleats and they look worth the trip. Great pics.Lets have somemore.
Looking good!! Was there any other interesting cars this year? We thought of going, but dropped it the last couple of years there have been too few interesting cars there making it worth thr drive from Norway
There where a lot sound system and Japanese cars with a cold this year, so not mush to see but here are some more pics And this car that everyone talked about, an ugly piece in my eyes
Nice to see some new rides! Is the Sam Barris Merc lookalike the Merc that Ulf chopped on the Custom Motor Show the year that George Barris was there?
Damn man, what a cool hot rod, and a great display!! I was hoping to be a girls bicycle seat in my next incarnation, but I'm now thinking Swedish hot rodder. You cats rule!!-Sololobo
Somehow the rebel flag has become a symbol for american cars and the lifestyle connected to them over here... I'm not really sure if it's the "rebel" name that stuck, the hillbilly lifestyle or slave politics that caused this. It could possibly be pure esthetics, it is alot better looking than the yankee flag...
I second that!! I first thought it was a clone of the Sam Barris Merc, but at a second look I see it has another grille bar, no bumper guards, and the original "dog leg" on the door, also no fadeaway fenders! Same color and stance, and one hell of a nice kustom
Perhaps the Dukes of Hazzard had something to do with that trend?? Anyway, there were some cool cars in that show, thanks for posting.
Actually I think it has something to do with teddyboys and rockabillys back in the old days, and the rumble they were having against eachother... The Rebel flag is heavily used by teddyboy bands in europe...
love the truck!! seen reports of some shows in custom car and there are some awesome hardcore rods over there one day I'll go over to Sweden again
AAhhhhhhh, that roadster with the nosebleed frontend gave me the chills.. any more pic's of it ? I have a colleague from Malmo, be here tomorrow for a couple days, I will ask him if he went to that show. Roach
The show is called Custom motor show it is in Jönköping Elmia and I didn't saw DePalma but I there where a lot of DePalma skirts
It is owned by my buddy, its not finished yet but its drivable, he will have an own car show in I think in April, go ask your boss if you can go here next time say April suites me fine And a pic from last year
Only this picture taken 2 years ago, but before that it had a blower sorry dont have any pics on that but it was really cool
No the show crew did that, they called me and asked if I could place my car there, perhaps they thought that it would match the others. There where also 2 guys and 2 girls dressed in 50 clothes walked and false tinker with the cars in the display.
