Santa Maria(the new Paso)-Let's see who's going

OK, it's getting fairly close now. So, who's going, and what are you bringing. If you're not going, why? This, with a lot of clunks and bugs made it's breif maiden voyage yesterday. So, I anticipate it will be my ride there

I will be there, prayin' hard that my wagon is going to be done, tranny is out and just went off to get rebuilt. It will be cuttin' it close, but we have 4 Cadillacs, a '61 Ford and a '54 Chevy going with us, and Groucho, we are still stayin at the same hotel, it should be a fun time.

 

Ill be there in the wagon and my buddy in his 59' Impala. We'll be stayin in Buellton, its the closest we could get. Cant wait!!

I hate to say I'm going to miss this year. I loved Paso and stayed with old friends in Los Osos every year. This year wife has to work, I have health issues, and am going to go to other events closer to home. I hate to miss this one, maybe next year I'll be able to go, but until then I'll see it on the HAMB.

 

I'm going to Paso and sit in the park with a cheap bottle of wine in a paper bag, should have no problem power parking my primered ride. hope I don't give the auction a bad name bringing riff raff like me to town!

 

I will be going......staying at Santa maria Inn , should arrive Friday. Bringing the 31 coupe. Just got my registration package in the mail today {#338} so i am locked and loaded...................

 

Man, I was just at the Santa Maria Fairgrounds this past weekend. If you are going BRING YOUR OWN SHADE!!! there is very little there. After seeing the fairgrounds I may not attend the actual sat-sun show but will def hit up the cruise on Fri night.

If you get your Chebby and I get my Buakk Done for the show, you guys should roll down with us to the show, it will be the Vaca Villains/Villains invasion...

 

Nope, +1 hours drive , and the best part was camping and BBQ at NealinCa's place.

We've got a '42 GMC that needs a motor, tranny, and a rear-end,,,a '53 Chevy HT that we're dropping a SBC with tri-power in and will need paint,,,and my beater...sheetmetal work in the trunk, body mods and paint.

I'd definitely be down to roll if we can get any or all the cars done.

this will be my first "trip" in the coupe. have only driven it local since i got it. really looking forward to this event. i am leaving early Friday morn, so if anyone else from OC is going around that time, lets cruise up together.
