what color should I paint my wheels??

I am putting bias ply white walls on my rambler.It is antique white with brown interior. I was wondering what color should I paint my wheels.

White car with whitewalls? I say black rims and stick some trim rings on it if you are keeping the dog dish caps. Just my opinion...

Wide whitewalls?
WWW's don't belong on that new of a car, weren't available when it was new and will look Rockersilly on it so it really doesn't matter what color the wheels are.

Bias ply with skinny whites?
Paint the wheels copper or gold to go with the warm Brown interior.

 

agree one hundred pecent, thin bias plys with maybe a mettalic brown
wheel with spiders or just some chrome bullets

 

Skinny whites or ground ones 1" or less wide.

Leave the wheels white and add stainless trim rings along with the dog dish caps.

Here's a set of 1" ground whites with rings and dog dish caps on my 62 Comet. Black car with red interior.

 

The wheels and tires on the comet look good. Any wider of a whitewall just would not be right on the wagon. Personally, I prefer a skinnier white wall on a '60s car.... something < 3/4".

Rootbeer metallic to bring the interior color in....keep the white letter tyres.....ditch the dog caps and put some chrome lugnuts on it.

Later, you can gold Kandyflake the roof and she's DONE!

 

This car is crying for chrome wheels. If you must paint, use white. Very cool wagon!

here´s what i mean

 

I put a set of chrome smoothies and black wall radials for right now.I am just going to paint my factory wheels so I can have a change every once and a while.I am going to put pinner whites on but they so hard to find.I know coker and diamond back have them.I just don't want to put that much money into this car.I know it only has 38000 actual miles.I just don't know if I want to keep it or not.

Here is one called Hot Rod Flatz Rust Pearl. Look good with whitewall and no hub caps and chrome lug nuts as well as chrome trim rings.

 

Those Hot Rod Flatz paint "samples" are worthless.... online or in print. Depending on how one's monitor is set, that color could be anything. The "color chart" they sell on Ebay is just as worthless.
