Pat Foster 1940-2008

  1. What a blow - we have lost another true craftsman, artist, legend and to some, friend and family member. My sincere condolences to Cole and all of Pat's family.

    My condolences to Cole, Susan and the rest of the family and friends. I never got to meet him, but he was/is a hero of mine, and an inspiration for me...RIP Mr Foster

    Although I didn't know and had never heard of Pat Foster, I have emence respect after reading his obituary on "we did it for love .com".

    Sat up and read and re-read the WDIFL obit 'til 3:30 this morning.

    This was a true Craftsman / Fabricator / Innovator in every aspect.

    Watched the Dallas deal happen, I always felt bad for him over it.

    His metal work is best compared to that of a jeweler- nothing out of place. He was a honor to know and can give us a standard to measure our work by. I'd kill for his phone list.
    Knowing he checked out on his own terms makes me a little less sad.

    Getting real tired of hearing about this kinda thing. The older we get, the more we hear about friends, moms, dads, mentors, heros, legends...doesn't make it any easier. RIP Pat.
