What a blow - we have lost another true craftsman, artist, legend and to some, friend and family member. My sincere condolences to Cole and all of Pat's family. Steve
Sorry for your loss Cole and for Susan and all the rest of his friends and relatives - and there shouldn't be any doubt that he had many friends and fans. R.I.P. Dennis
What a life, huh? Y'all should make peace with yer parental units before it's too later, I'm trying my best. This is too sad.
God sure is building one hell of a fab shop race team this year. let's hop his shop if full for now. RIP. Foster Lil' John Boyd
My condolences to Cole, Susan and the rest of the family and friends. I never got to meet him, but he was/is a hero of mine, and an inspiration for me...RIP Mr Foster
Although I didn't know and had never heard of Pat Foster, I have emence respect after reading his obituary on "we did it for love .com". R.I.P.
Sat up and read and re-read the WDIFL obit 'til 3:30 this morning. This was a true Craftsman / Fabricator / Innovator in every aspect. Watched the Dallas deal happen, I always felt bad for him over it. "Hop Sing says to me ' Why didn't you stop' " Laughed till I cried RIP K
Cole this is what its all about right here. You are a very lucky son to have a farther like this and if there is anything we can do please let us know. (the photos in his post.)

I got to watch Pat run once....what a wild man! I'm sure he'll have as much fun in Heaven as he did here..My condolences to Cole and the rest of the Fosters. RIP, Pat.
His metal work is best compared to that of a jeweler- nothing out of place. He was a honor to know and can give us a standard to measure our work by. I'd kill for his phone list. Knowing he checked out on his own terms makes me a little less sad.
Getting real tired of hearing about this kinda thing. The older we get, the more we hear about friends, moms, dads, mentors, heros, legends...doesn't make it any easier. RIP Pat.
