Here is my dads 32 coupe. It was taken apart 40 years ago and never seen the roads since. We bought a warehouse full of 32 ford parts and bodys here in oregon and this was one of the bodys we got. It was a old hot rod painted 4 different colors over the years had chrome garnishes. The body was sold a the portland swap meet in I believe 1990 or 1991 for $2500.
I did not have a digital camera back then and I do have some pictures after we moved it but no scanner. There are a few people on here that know about the deal we got. There was 5 5 window coupe bodys some in pieces, 2 32 sport coupes, a roadster body with extra panels and 3 pickups no sedans. Fhead got a pair of roadster quarter panels from me ,jsut dug got a quarter panel for his coupe. It was the high light of my life and a dream come true for me and my dad. I was not cheap but we sold off alot and got our money back and kept a couple cars each(free). Alot of work and alot of fun. It will problably never happen again.
NO I got my 32 vicky and his 32 vicky from damascus oregon. Come to find out my 32 vicky was a old slo poks car when he was in high school and he lived less than a mile away from where I live now.
I always wondered it...when is it not the same car anymore? IE replacing the body? Great looking car.
[Alot of work and alot of fun. It will problably never happen again.[/quote] You have most likely just made the understatement of the century. Congrats on the find and IF YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN WE'LL HUNT YOU DOWN AND KILL YOU. I'm sure you understand. Frank
neat looking coupe. can someone make that photo larger, i would like to get a better look. thanks. Al.
I had to downsize the picture to get it loaded. I have the original picture but it was to large to download.
Just keep 'em guessin' Steve and once in awhile toss in a photo of Pop's other cars like the pair of 40 ragtops, one a Ford the other a Merc and if you really want to show off a little, give them a picture or two of the dash boards in the room above the shop.
