I've got a '55 Warchawsky catalog if anyone needs it. All kinds of funky stuff in there. On the back cover they're advertising chrome fins for the 52-54 Fords to make them look like a '55. Those looked like they might be neat. The ones on that Chevy are cool to have but I don't know if I'd want to run them.

My '55 Dodge has chrome plated fins on it too, but they were actually a factory option.

That 55 or 56 poncho has some nice chrome on it.

That car looked like it had a vinyl top on it, too. Was that a factory option for a Crestliner? I'd never seen one before.

J.C.Whitney and Warshawsky were the same Co. Look at the addresses for each Co., same street differant no.

Seen a couple of these at some car shows in recent years and wondered if they were originals or if they were being repopped. Didn't think of them being as old as this photo seems to indicate though.

I think the Crestliners may have had a factory installed vinyl or textured roof covering as they were attempting to simulate the look of a convertible. There used to be a maroon and black one around this area and I think it had a similar top.

I knew that Whitney and Warshawsky were the same company but Whitney catalogs are the only ones I remember seeing years ago. I later heard that the Warshawsky catalog had lower prices and was only supposed to be available to dealers and garages, like it was supposed to be the wholesale version of the JC Whitney catalog.

  11. I think some of you guys have lost your sense of adventure and daring to be different . I might buy a fastback Chevy just so I could put those on it .
