OK, so I sold the roadster at the last Pomona swap-meet and have been stashing parts for awhile to build a 30 coupe on deuce rails, Just need a few more things. I've got about a day into it now. body already had 4'' chop but will need some cleaning up. how *****in zero rust, zero bondo. I built the roadster in about three months I hope to have this one running in about a month or so? keep you posted.

The body is very clean. If I had the dough, I would've picked up. He's one of my good friends. You're definitely doing justice to the body. Keep us posted on the progress.

Did you pinch the frame at all? Or is that just on the 28/29.

Stop showing this stuff. I already know how good deuce rails look under a well chopped body and it's making me jealous. This thing looks awesome and your work looks top notch my friend. I am subscribing to this thread so keep them coming.

the frame was bought at the Pomona swap meet and I think it's made by the hot rod shop? kiwi konnection in Bakersfield would be your best bet for a 32 frame.

Is that a Schroeder? If not what brand? Also, do you know the ratio? One more. Your pitman arm looks very long for a sprint car box, taking into consideration how fast they steer. Have you done some calculations on how hard it will be to turn the wheel? I'm curious because I want to do the same thing. Thanks!

Gene, it's a schroeder box with 8:1 ratio yea it will steer a little fast but you can get different gear ratios. I don't think I will have hard steering there are tons of hot rods with this boxes in them. hope this helps.
