A fellow hot rodder and HAMBer just helped me out with some e-bay stuff that I needed to get my chevy back on the road.
The parts were NOS, and not available new from any of the usual recommended chevy parts suppliers. The eBay vendor would not ship outside of the US on any account
This guy (who I have never met!) stepped up to the plate on first time of asking, won the auction on my behalf, opened them up and checked something for me when he recieved them, and then re-shipped them as soon as he could.
I would not have been able to get my MOT (road worthiness certificate here in the UK) without this guy's help. simple as that.
I ain't going to name him, but wanted to issue thanks in front of larger audience, as he deserves the credit, and more.
Some things just make you proud to be hot rodder, don't they?

    BJ over ;-)

Hot rodders and old car people in general are the best. Sounds like you have found a good friend. :) It's good when we help each other. Enjoy driving your Chevy.

It always makes me smile to know there are still good people in this world and as Poverty said it seems like most are old car guys. Congrats and enjoy the ride

I have met some good people from this page. I have friends I have never seen with my eyes here that I will hang out with at the drop of a hat if I get the chance when I get back home.
