thanks for posting this,,,my buddy recently bought the old mill inn in hatboro, pa,,,,as hotrodsurfer said, he's looking to host a hamb brunch one sunday a month,,normally, the brunch runs $15 and includes one drink,,,but he's putting together a special deal for hambers,,,,,,,,,also, there is an outside patio that will be for use exclusively by hambers....i'll let you know the details/prices when he tells me,,,,basically, it'll probably be the third sunday of the month (not set in stone yet) from now through november..it's a cool place, actually the oldest building on hatboro (circa 17??,,cant remember exactly what he told me,hahah)....we are planning a hamb friendly car show in september (theres a huge parking area across the street that he also owns),,there will be beer, food, bands, etc at the show.....will post more details on that later,,,this is basically to determine if there is enough interest to get something started

I'm in favor of a HAMB get together in the area; however, i just don't see anyone being too happy at the Old Mill inn. The food is good, but I'm going to say its a little to intimate for a HAMB crowd, you cant see your car while you eat, and i think it would be priced above what people would want to pay for a HAMB meet. Maybe if they set up a HAMB buffet in the lot across the street?

  6. NEW OWNERS AND NEW MENU!!,WE WILL HAVE ROPED OFF PARKING AND AN AREA TO EAT JUST FOR HAMB MEMBERS AND CAR OWNERS -THE NEW OWNER IS A REAL COOL CAT

Sounds good to me. About 120 miles from my place but if the food is good, I could do it. I could make a day out of it and stop to see some low life friends that I haven't seen in years.:D:D

    I'm all about this idea.

And like HOTRODSURFER and gas pumper said, we could hit up the Blue Comet afterwards for some good music and cheap beer.

I'm probably "in". Car may be apart by the end of the month, but I can bring my DD. What the is the "Blue Comet"?

  28. I'll support this. Lets give it a chance.
Maybe we can bring back cruising Old York Rd. like we used to do back in the late 60's

Been awhile since I was there last but every Sunday they have Rockabilly bands and they had a special something like $2 or 3$ for a shot and a Pabst. If it wasn't a little bit of a hike for me I'd be there all the time. Gets pretty crowded though. Not a big place at all.
