    Cam covers look like Offy, v-8 layout means a Novi motor. Big Noise!

    possibly a 5.4L offy/novi,Chuck Stevenson raced back in the early 50's in nascar,indy,and formula 1.

    Chuck Stevenson did run an offy motor, Clay Smith was his mechanic..

    That's the D.O.H.C. conversion of the Studebaker V-8 built by Willie Utzman for Agajanian. It never ran in compe***ion because the inertia starter broke the snout off the crank.
