My name is J.D. and I am new to the board. I have always been into cars (what guy hasn't been?) since I was a kid. I became a father in June of 2007 and I am looking for a project right now so my little boy can think I am "cool", the way I thought my old man was cool in his various old cars. I didnt realize the old man was driving them because it was all we could afford, I just thought he was cool. Now all the old cars aren't so cheap anymore, but they're still out there. I have my eye on a 54 Chevy right now. Its in a "secret location" so dont ask! :D I am into traditional style (the term old school has lost its relevence) rods and also the cars with metalflake paint.
Anyway, I plan on keeping my mouth shut for a while and using the "Search" feature and only asking for help when I need to. Thanks for having such a great forum and allowing me the opportunity to be a part of it. ~J.D.

Hi and welcome! What part of NC are you from? I'm just west of Charlotte. I'm working on a 53 chevy chopped top custom and a 50 ford sedan custom. Just message me if I can help you with anything. Eric.

Sorry man, I'll have to go back in there and add the city. I live in Concord just north of Charlotte.
