Been tattooing now for about 6 years, but prior to that: I was the second man in for a fleet of Tri-axle and trailer dumps, as well as dry-bulk tanks, thats where I got my cdl, and learned to weld...lots of Aluminum welding, too...14/16 hour days, road calls, frozen brake related pager calls in the middle of the night. lots of fun...

I'm a Logistics Supervisor for CEVA Logistics (merge of Eagle Global Logistics and TNT Logistics). I've supported DELL Mfg in Austin for 4 years and now I'm part of a team deploying LEAN (Toyota Production System principles) to sites all over the world. I'll spend 12 months on the road, 7 cities in the US and Europe scheduled so far.

That's funny because the company I work for designed 2 of those systems that you designed.

Retired machinist, last 24 years were at Northwest Airlines in their Atlanta maintenance base machine shop. We did airframe and engine parts repair for their DC9s and any of the P&W JT8D engines in the rest of the fleet.
They closed the facility in 12/02, and I retired, as I was already 65 and planning on leaving in early 03.
Have a 1600 sq. ft. shop equipped with all sorts of machining and welding equipment and spend my time either here on the internet or at shop building a 30/31 Brookville roadster.
    Life is good!!!!!!!!

I'm a maintenance guy in an oil filter factory. I fix the machines that make Cat oil filters.

Before that I did maintenance in a brake hose factory.

Before that I spent 11 years fixin' stuff in an injection molding shop that made parts for GM, Chrysler and Mitsubi...whatever. We did some die cutting to using those fancy steel rule dies mentioned very early in this thread.

    Who knows whats next!

  25. The machines I design cut the raw materials as it comes off the rolls. Very possible that your machines are used later in the manufacturing process.

I do fleet maintenance at the U of Arizona. Everything from golf karts to large diesel trucks and fire trucks.
As long as there's people to edumacate, I'll have something to work on!

Operations Manager for a large interstate moving company. I was an owner operator for too many years running coast to coast in a tractor trailer. I'm thinking this definitely falls under the transportation industry!

Student, so I guess I'm tired because I sit in class all day, day dream cars, and sketch them out.

I'm in advertising, but work exclusively with automotive clients, mostly dealer groups. My company's focus is mainly one-to-one and targeted advertising.
