I remember seeing some cool beach cruiser bikes with a "custom" look, pinstriped and such... they came that way stock.

    anyone have a link?

or even better, know anyone that makes some custom bikes?

I need a cool ride for getting my lazy **** around Billetproof shows.

Picked up an old "Schwinn"-style frame last year. The tag says "White Auto Stores". I need to get to work on that thing.

We, the Krazy Krauts Kustom Klub, do the "Eisbein Kruise" every year over here in february. This year over 170 bikes and their owners came.
Heres one of mine, a homebuilt "Upside Downer" (ladies frame upside down):

This one belongs to my buddy Ronn. I think he said it was a 1938 Columbia delivery bike built for grocery and hardware stores. Love the patina on this thing.

I was heavy into the Schwinn Stingray scene about 15 years ago, and it takes big bucks you could be spending on your car on these things. I still have a complete original Apple Krate with the 5-speed stick, drum front brake, and rear stainless disk brake. It was the bike I always wanted as a kid and never got. I restored it from 2 old krates that had been in a friends shed for 30 years! I also still have a Stingray Junior, all original I'm saving for my granddaughter, and my son has a kustomized krate with lowrider forks and some super-ape hanger handlerbars that I kandied and flaked for him a few years ago. I plan on doing a "Finkray" this summer, based on a krate frame, with lots of krazy custom kandy paint and flake, and I have an original "perry wheel" (steering wheel handlebar) for it as well! I missed the boat this Christmas on the Krates they had at Wally World for freakin' $89!!!!! They were a bit cheapy made, and just coasters, but still way kool if you never had one, and a chance for young kids to enjoy them once again! :D Build your own! Theres a zillion bicycle parts out there!

  22. Just make one, I did.

And if I can do it, you certainly can!

Here is a early 60's rollfast I picked up at hershey for $10 cause I was sick of walking, then I fixed it up and flaked it out for the woman. Hard to see the brilliance of the flake in pics. I am going to do a 1940 Shelby bike I picked up for myself.
