    Hi Guys

I'm going to have a crack at formalising some of the business I'm doing with the A bodies. To do this right I'm going to need to set up a website, have business cards etc. Im interested to see what the members here have for logos etc. Thanks.

Everyone is welcome to showcase their stuff here if they want. But please keep any requests for design work or illustration in the cl***ified section. Thanks.

Try to keep it on the simple side. 2-3 colors. Cheaper and easier to print on business cards, stationary, ads etc. Stay away from small type and gradiants (fade from 1 color to the next) as these may not reproduce well when embroidered on shirts and hats. Just my opinion.

It pretty much comes down to knowing how to use the tools and wanting to spend the time in digitizing to put the right colors and amount of colors in the design. I started in 87, still work on 88 equipment. No Scanners, no automated fills or gradients. You can do some body work, go from 36 grit, straight to 400 then paint, or you can go 36, 80, 220, 400, then paint. It just depends on the end result you are willing to accept, on the buyers side or the production side.

Are we talking rapidio graph pens, waxing down text and cutting ruby-lith? :)
If so that sure takes me back. Started in '85 - 1st Mac in '87. Been on one ever since.
The s***ching you are doing is fantastic! I'll be getting a price from you in the near future.

Rapidograh! wow...I hate those....never took the time to clean them right. Using ZIG Millenniums form Hobby Lobby Now. 8.00 a set. Ruby lith and Letraset rub on Fonts. No, Just 1988 Melco EDSII on a Digitizing Tablet as I learned. I do use Illustrator for Drawing and fonts these days, but I do still hand draw my embroidery art and do my pull compensations in the art. Wasnt baggin you, just like people to know that there is alot more possible than what the Johhny come lately embroiders are putting out there, being sold software with no experience to run it. If people are gettin poor quality, its because they dont know that there is better out there. Ive been in the background for 20 years, and my work was marked up for the end user. Time to Step out from behind the Curtain, let people know they have a choice. My choice in clients are the Hot Rodders and the HAMBers, because you all are real people, not the Sports Nuts!

AMEN... I migrated to the prepress side and you had people designing logos, brochures etc in Powerpoint and Word. The **** that came with the PC made them instant designers.
    Keep up the good work.

Here’s my logo, PM me and I can set you up with a professional looking business logo that is easily reproducible in black and white for magazine or print ads but at the same time looks great in full color. We also offer website design as well as business card and flyer design and printing.
