I joined hamb a while back but never spend that much time on the computer. Just wanted to try it out again.
Thanks, hotrodpodo, cool looking car you have. I have not figured out how to put my car picture under my post, but I didnt build my car in 1 day either. Thanks, Greg
I live in Madison. I probably wont be online a whole lot but please be patient with me. I always like talking to car guys about your cars.
the reason i asked, is because i know a guy named greg with a 55 buick that lives right by me...i thought maybe you were him. but i know where madison is.
oilslinger55, I see your from cal. Thats one of those places I want to visit someday, but man! thats a long way from Indiana.
How about another newbie introduction, and welcome to you also Greg. I retired in June of 07 after 39 years in education. 30 as a shop teacher and 9 as an ***istant Principal...all in the same high school in northern NJ. I own a 2004 Chevy SSR. 120 louvres in the hood, K&N air, SuperChip computer, and Dynamax headers. Phantom flames and Von Dutch style pinstriping on the trunk and waterfall between the seats by Anthony White and Alan Johnson..yeah it's a trailer queen. My current project and retirement project is a 32 Ford pickup I brought from Dave Simard. It's in pieces now and I am in the process of rebuilding the whole thing. It's an old California street rod and I have the ***le and plates from 1964. Found the original owner through the internet and found out that it has an original Dago front axle from Ed Stewart. Very cool piece of nostalgia. I'll be positing photos as soon as I can. See ya for now
Thanks oldschoolphart, I have a 39 ford 2 door sedan that I built from the ground up. The top is chopped 3.5 in. 350/350, (which my wife hates, and I agree), Mustang2, still in cream color dupont primer on the main body. The fenders & boards are still whats left that henry put on. So far about 10000 on the odometer, and counting.
Greg, welcome from Crestwood Ky, not far from Madison Ind. Probably see you at a cruise or two this summer. Later, Billy
Welcom Greg, I am in NW Indiana now, but I was in Lawranceburg in the 80's and I think you will like it here. I miss crusin the river routs but lake Michigan is cool too. Jim
