"Bondo" has improved greatly in the 30 years you've been away.It is easier to work , finishes nicely and holds up super. There is many different brands to choose from I prefer Evercoat products for filler needs. Body filler is like primers and topcoats. you get what you pay for.

Evercoat makes a great product. If you want the best you should use the Rage Extreme. It's pricey-about $35 a gallon but that aint much considering you should only use a skim coat over the entire car anyway and a gallon should do it. Just as in the past, you will want to get the metal as straight as possible and only spread the filler over clean metal.

Evercoat is a very good way to go. I use evercoat's rage in a pink can. Sands easy, doesn't shrink. Word of warning, don't put it on and then wait till tomorrow to sand, it will as hard as a rock.

Rage gold , but try to use as little as possible. Let the can sit in the sun, it will make it even softer. Good luck, but remember nothing is better than metal work.
