well speak of the devil. its your call if u wanna run this 2.8 im preety sure the intake is interchangble ill ask my buddy at work tommrow. i dont think gm would go outa there way to make two diff sets of heads for that motor. u just give the word. i can even put off my up north trip for top secret project parts and go get this thing for ya. who knows maybe we can get em both on the road around the same time!!

Hack, I've been there buddy.

My 54 Chevy was too small underneath to fit a turbo 350 without enlargening the trans tunnel. That's why I'm running a turbo 200. Not the overdrive 200, just the normal metric 3 speed out of a 78 Caprice 305 car. It's smaller overall than a turbo 350 and fits much better.

I was motivated by one of your posts awhile back and used the whole drivetrain out of a 100 dollar parts car.

ok last one before bed. three hours of sleep last night are making me feel like a south west detroit crack head! . ok then heres the plan....

this weekend we go get parts for my shotbox. mini road trip!
next saterday sunday??? we cruise down to MO what ever that stands for but cant be to far away and pick up the new and imporved powerplant and eat cookies and drink lotsa mt dew! and listen to the anoying buzz of my honda! so who ever wants to do the paypal thingy feel free i do have a paypal account with a debit card we could take along for fill ups and such!

OK, i don't have time to read all 50 pages of this post so i don't know if a plan has been laid out yet but here is what i can do. if we wait till the weekend after this one (i'll be in Bowling Green) we can take my Chevy (truck) and get it from THOM in Chicago (if it can get there). i need to go visit those boys in Chi-town anyway, plus THOM has some wheels i'm sure he'd like me to get out of his garage.

i'll do it, it'll be fun (it's an auto by the way), besides, like i said, i gotta git my wheels from THOM. lets do this. make the plans, git that motor to Chicago... i can do it just about any weekend except this coming and the 3rd of JULY, thats the Hot Rod Rumble (at my place) and you kids will be busy that day too !!
