Any idea what a Cragar 6-71 blower with Hilborn Injection for a 392 Hemi is worth???

  1. Speculate for me... finders fees accepted:D

Also have a line on a 57 341 DeSoto Hemi block and heads code S26 (4bbl) if anyone is interested.

Makes a difference what style injector the Hilborn is...2-port, 4-port, hat, etc.

For an accurate estimate of value, you need to know how complete it is. Blower manifold? Drive set-up? Snout? Is the drive 2", 3" or what? Is the blower really a "Cragar" blower, or does it just have a Cragar tri-plate or rear bearing plate cover?

Some blower manifolds and drives can be worth more than others depending on rarity. The condition of the parts...especially the 6-71 itself...also comes into play. If the blower set-up came off of a top fuel car, it may be worn out (or damaged) and need rebuilding.

  4. At least 10 cents a pound. After that it's up to the eBay bidders.

By the way, a guy is going to list a magneto for '53 Cad V8, posted on a board there wondering what else it would fit if anything, if guys want to watch for it.

$3000.00 no more...it aint gold! the only piece that is sout after is a hilborn 2 port (not made any more ,egay sales are anywhere from $1K to $2500) you can buy new hilborn 4 port injectors tall & short (same mold as the old ones) $1K and under, you can buy the 4 port & 2 port cast alum scoops from hilborn for under $400. you can get a 671 blower (stock) refurbed for around $1500 mor eidf you want int set up for modern day racing),you can get a 392 blower intake for under $400 new. then you need al lthe pulleys and drives.
    just my $ 0.02
