How to remove the hubs from my drums- 40 Ford

    It looks simple enough:eek: but they just wont come out.
    Any tricks?
    Bigger hammer?

    I did a search, and guess what? :D Everything I ever wanted to know about removing hubs from drums was right there.

    The wheel bolts are swedged on. Unless you have a special cutter you'll be best to cut/drill/grind the heads off from inside the drum and poke them out from the back.

    You need one of these. Some brake shops might have the cutter to remove the serrations on the studs.
