    Sorry Dude

I did it with a fly cutter in a Bridgeport mill

I also cut the back side of my hand up real bad - tens - the small finger tip - 200 + stich ezz.

Maybe you need to talk to another surgin - if you saw the mess they put back together on me...fna.

Dont feel like a puss for p***in out either -

My lights went out 3 times before I was at the Hospital.

The pain from the cut is nothin

The real pain starts as you start to heal.

This is for all other Hambers workin to late, workin to sleepy, workin while drinkin beers - FN stop it.

This **** happins & it happins so fast it can kill you.

Sorry to read this, Jordan. Good luck with the recovery.
Must have been finger day. I read that 35Chevy tried to make pretzels out of his fingers. Considering the number of HAMBers we could have an "injured and disabled" list that would be as busy as the main section is.

Even if they reattach it, you'll never pick your nose or m***age another **** with it.

Without safety, we are no different than dogs trying to cross a freeway...

Whoa!! Does this ever bring back memories. I cut three toes off my left foot with a lawnmower at age 13. Doesn't take but a second (or less). A wonderful surgeon saved enough of my big toe so I don't walk with a limp but the recovery was a painful *****. I usually can get shoes in one size that will work but occ***ionally they will curl up on the left one and look like a pixie's shoe.
    Good luck with the healing.
Just realized the 50th anniversary of that little event will be this summer. Maybe I'll have a hot rod gathering to celebrate.

Sorry to hear this, but I admire your at***ude!
My friend Raymond lost half his middle finger to a fan on a Taurus. Now he can tell someone "**** you a little", or "**** you a lot" depending on which finger he gives ya!

Take care of it, watch out for infections.

Thats because your using it now. Lay down and hold that arm up some. Keeping it higher than your heart eases the pain a little.

Years ago a buddy of mine cut off his pinky finger with a skillsaw...he took the finger and cast it into a shifter knob for his Indian motorcycle. Always liked the reactions from the dudes who were checkin' out his bike and saw the shifter! 2 guys were arguing with each other about whether it was a real finger or not...my buddy held up his hand and the discussion stopped!
An index finger would be tough to lose, you're going to have a change in the way you do things from now on...

a local mechanic was working on a newer car and the electric fan kicked on, it nabbed two fingers quicker than hell... now he has three and 2 half fingers on one hand... sorry to hear about it, it will be awkward for a while... but you will get use to it and it will be easy to overcome. :D

At least you don't have to go through "re-education". I've seen a few fingers fly. Think nylon filaments running at 700 feet per minute, a loop, a finger, and fwooop, there it goes.

Worse than the injury is that the person has to go through company 're-education" to "get your head right". LOL

I understand the hardest part to get down is getting your change when the cash register kicks it out.

Hang in there bro I'm sure that hand hurts like a SOB. Sometimes you just gotta take it one second at a time till you get to see the doctor. I spent like 4 hours waiting to see a doctor at the emergency room one day in horrible pain. They put me on dilaudid as soon as I got in there thank god. Hope you get some of that stuff too. Ask for it by name! :D

  30. Think of it this way: If you are ever in South America and get kidnapped by a cartel and held for ransom... when they go to cut your find off to send to family you can just yawn and tell them "Oh, how original"

Sorry to hear about your loss but good to hear your spirits are good. Best of luck
