Ya sure its the shaft and not the tires? is the shaft shorter than stock? if not...did you keep the center bearing?

    34-36 doesn't use a center bearing.

rusty, i would check to see if the front bearing,or the u-joint is any good.did it do it on the first driveshaft?

Isn't the 36, the hollow type then? If so, then I would expect that you could bring it to a driveshaft shop to have it balanced.

It had a vibration but not this bad. After replacing the drveshaft in Austin I put over 200 miles on it and then 200 miles back home. The whole time gripping the steering wheel wondering what was fixing to lock up. It is a serious vibration (Pucker up) about 40-50 mph then it smoothes out enought to tolerate. When de excellerating it comes back at the same point. I feel it through the whole car. U joint seemed fine although I picke up three at the Roundup swap meet and all three felt tighter than mine. It is getting annoying and to all that say swap it out for a later model it just aint happenin. COuld it be the ******? I tried to get up fast enough in second to make it do it but it will only do it in third.

I don't know what parts you have used exactly but if you used a 32-4 hollow driveshaft and converted it from a 10 spline drive to a later 6 spline drive by welding in a stock 6 spline coupler there is a good chance that this is not on true center. You can usually spot this balance issue as it seems to vibrate thru the seat of your pants. If you have a balance issue with the tires , or wheels this usually manifests itself with a vibration thru the steering. Drive shaft vibes usually feel like they are coming from the rear of the car or thru the floor and driveshaft balance thru all speed ranges causes a vibration. Smoothing out at 45=50 somehow thinks that this is tires or lack of shock absorbers. Thought about this a little more and a vibration can also be detected with a bad upper drive shaft support bearing or lack of one. Did you reinstall the 2" long roller bearing that supports the driveshaft at the u-joint side and was the race any good. If either of these are bad it will produce a vibration.

    UPDATES

Got the driveshaft straightened to within .005 out

    replaced the wore out uJoint

    Replaced the bearing

    Refilled gear oil

    Still Vibrates.

Guess I will get the tires balanced again but It still feels like a drivetrain issue
