Hey Joe, missed catching up with you this weekend! I met Adrien saturday night, he said you were in the Continental. That fastback is AWESOME! he did some good work on it. sean
sup sean, **** was crazy this weekend, 4 1/2 hour drive to austin and a 9 hours drive back. had a blast the whole way. yeah, manuel got down on the fastback.
lil johnny b good holding it down thursday night taylor's 48 on thursday, clutch went out that night and his car didn't make it. i called him talking **** the next day and a few hours later my car catches on fire. needless to say, my car didn't make it either.
You guys have the coolest cars(the fleetline is beautiful), I look forward to seeing them evolve every year. They just keep getting better. I enjoyed helping push it on Sat night when his carbs were acting up, hope he got that all worked out.
A few more pics Our rides lined up and an Award that The Beatniks gave us It was nice to meet Alex, and buy some cool **** too
hey Joe, thanks again for stopping by on Congress and offering me and my lady a hand with my 50 Chevy truck. (damn electrical bug) we got it on the road and only had a couple problems later that evening, and next day, but we made it home. Los Cochinos cars looked great as usual. too bad about your ride, next year I hope to see it there. D.
Anybody have an extra Los Cochinos poster/flyer they care to sell? I've been trying to get my hands on one for the longest but all leads fall short...I would love to get it framed....Thanks in advance.
Los Cochinos are some damn good guys. They were actually short one this weekend, Jeff Whitely didn't make it because he became a new father last week. CONGRATS! But his chevy has one of the best chops I've seen out there. Adrian did a good job.
He is Roy, he and his brother built the copper and green fleetline, and he has a few other projects in the works as well...
Steve, my guess is that he got rid of the 4 speed and the clutch first. Maybe you should start there. Ha Ha Ha I think you should just put a diesel and a hydrostat in your car so you could run it by joystick.
hey plowboy, all due respect and all but some **** you shouldn't joke about. monsterflake, i rent a spot at manuel and roy's shop. we've been working on our cars together for a few months. manuel's been working on a 54 chevy wagon for roy. he's got a mII setup with power steering and brakes ready to bolt on. but roy's been thinking about bringing one of his convertables out. whatever he decides i'm gonna be there to help him out. it's been a blessing to have him working along side of me.
plowboy's all right, he's been helping me out...if drinking my beer and sleeping in my garage is help! i'm curious as to how roy's gonna break down the chair when he drives. that's my next objectve (after we get this one running). here's plowboy in action!
The next time I tell a joke I suppose I need to write a paragraph explaining the whole joke so that way the joke isn't funny anymore......except the gay *** jokes aren't jokes.
alright alright, let me get this **** straight. monsterflake, you're handicapped and plowboy is helping you build a ride, right? didn't mean to be a **** plowboy. thought you were disrespecting my homeboy. i'm not sure what he's got planned. he's a member here on the hamb. i'll ask him to check out this thread.
You guys really do have some great lookin, well built rides. I was telling my buddy that the club must be atleast 10 years old. It would take atleast that long to build all those kick **** rides!
