F100 Pitman arm question

Time to beat a dead horse. I am using a mid 50's f100 box and colum in my model A. But does a 62 f100 pitman arm fit? Looks just like it with a pinch bolt half sline on bottom, But it has a tapered hole for tie rod. I have everypost but don't remember ever reading that.I would of grabed it but the bone yard was closing and not going back if it don't fit. Any help would would be apprieciated.Thanks

 

Yes it will..BUT are you running fenders?? if yes its gonna hit

 

57 has a tapered hole for a ball joint, not sure how far this goes.
Have been told that the 57 drag link is a one year only

 

I thought 57 was the only year for a tapered hole also. I am not running fenders. I try and get it in the next couple of days and post some pic's of it.
