Where to buy body metal in Orange County CA

Quick question I need some 16ga and 22ga metal for some patches..Any good sources in Orange County CA.

Most of the ACE Hardware stores carry 16 & 22 gage CR in smaller
sheets 12X24, 24X24, but you'll need a note from your banker to
purchase it.

Schorr metals in Placentia is a good source for rems. You can paw through the stuff, find what you need and not have to pay for prime sheet or shear charges.

there's a pretty big place off the 5 at about carmenita in La Mirada

 

Metal Depot. easy to deal with, but not the cheapest. They also have surplus, that's the best deal.

 

Thats where I go.. just of the 5 freeway and Carmenita.
They have everything I need.

I found a good selection of sheet metal at OSH (Orchard Supply Hardware). I made a battery box for my 1930 American Austin.

 

Ha ha. I thought I was the only one cheap enough to cut **** up for metal. I'm lookin' real hard at a refrigerator that is in my ravine. Big flat panels on that thing. I wonder what gauge it is.
