Those Olds scores ****, pretty much no chance of anything that cool down here, my best was picking up a set of 67 Gt Falcon hubcaps for $40 (he wouldn't take 30) a bunch of years ago that I ran on my 67 6 cyl for a couple of years and then had the good sence to remove when I sold it, they sat in the shed for another 5 or so years before I figured on listing them on the local auction site as I doubted I was going to use em and two guys got in a bidding war from memory they nded up at $700 or so. If I could do that daily (hell even a couple of times a week) I wouldn't need to work
18" "Milk truck" wheels- $40 for all 5 Really? You are crowned king of the swap meet finds. I'm ***uming they are early Ford blot pattern judging by your avatar. You of course realize the going price of these, right?
Not really a swap meet find, but this weekend I picked up two 8BA 94's, a wicked nice original radiator, some mint NOS battery cables with the br*** ends, and a mint battery tray for my F-1 for $250...Not the deal of the century, but not too shabby.

I picked up 3 NOS aftermarket "bull nose" hood ornaments at Pleasanton the other weekend. one 49-52 chevy, one 53-54 Plymouth, and one that I forgot what it fits. the 49 one still had the box, I already have one for my car so I'm going to put that in my cool stuff shelf. paid 20 bucks for all 3 and already have a $29.00 bid on the Plymouth one. I also found a pair of NOS small block chevy finned aluminum valve covers with FORD script on them. found a very nice Fram flathead oil filter canister with nice original orange and black paint and all the decals intact. 10 bucks
Bought a rare set of the correct hub caps for my '64 Acadian off E-bay for 99 cents In this case rare meant no other bidders! The cool part was it was a local seller and I just drove across town to pick it up. I've since bought other Acadian/Nova items off him and if I have a question he is only an email away. Hubcaps.............99cents a car friend..........Priceless

The best deal I ever got at Englishtown recently was a trip setup for my sbc. Everything came with it, linkage, fuel block and lines, air cleaners, oil fill tube and cap, chrome thermostat housing.............475.00 I,m sure it will take some tlc to get it right, but I'll GET'R'DONE ....
Out of the local paper's freebee ads. Old flathead intake manifold and carbs 60.00. I called him and he was on his way to church so I got his address and went to his house and waited the hour for him to get home. We went in to get the keys to his shed and I noticed his answering machine had 30 messages on it. Glad he didn't check them first. He climbs the ladder in the shed and pulls down a Tattersfield hi-rise two carb manifold [looks just like Tickston] with 2 97's and chrome air cleaners and linkage! Couldn't pay him fast enough. Came off his 50 Ford years ago. Sold it and bought a 40k mile 454 for my Stude bus.

I always glance in the garbage cans/dumpsters as it gets close to closing times. One year found a pair of working spotlights. Often stuff gets tossed if the owner doesn't want to bother hauling it back home just one more time. have retrieved several items over the years.

Bought a Judson supercharger for $75. Was going to use on my Willys but ended up selling on eBay for $654 + shipping to help fund the hotrod project. Also bought my rear artillary wheels for $30 for the pair.
I got the wheels at an estate sale.....RARELY do I ever find a DEAL at a swapmeet these days....the best deals just find me....like the '65 Impala I bought last week for $300. I also sold a mid 80's Blazer to a guy down the road.....it didn't run, so I offered to haul it to his place. When at his place, I saw a pile of old Ford axles and a Model A frame. He GAVE it all to me, for hauling the Blazer for him. In the pile was a '47 axle with wishbone, a '40? axle that had been dropped years ago with spindles, and a '32 Heavy axle with unsplit wishbone, spindles and juice brakes....not to mention the Model A frame and a pair of old ET wheels. I sold the '32 stuff (shoulda kept it looking back now), along with the dropped axle (it was WAVY)....but still have the frame, ET's, and the '47 axle/wishbone......
