Hi, Well, I'm totally new to blogging of any kind. I joined the H.A.M.B. because of all the great information I've been reading. For the first time in my life I'm going to be able to keep my current ride and not have to use it to finance my next one. I'm NOT conventional and I'm NOT ****ly tied to the Chevy small block nor the ubiquitous Ford flathead. I love Mopars, Deuces, Model As and Shoebox Fords. Some would call my tastes ecclectic. Cars I build will be influenced by many others with no fixed formula. Dare to be different. My new as yet unstarted shoebox project will likely be all Ford with a smattering of Taurus, F150 and Art Morrison.......and it will be in da dirt. 'Nuff for now - supper's calling.
Hey Bob, Like you I am an FNG to the H.A.M.B. My friend down the street rekindled my interest in hotrods so we have been building a chopped, channelled, Zeed you name it 34 Ford pickup that is going to be so cool when we finish it. I have put the hobby on hold since the 70s because of military commitments, family and job. I am now semi-retired and work only to make money to buy more parts. Over the weekend we attended the Lone Star Roundup in Austin, TX and got a good dose of ratrods and cl***ics. GREAT WEEKEND!! Nuff said.
