early pontiac hillborn adaptor kits

    anyone in the poncho world know where i can find a set of adaptor plates to fit a pre 64 pontiac hillborn injection unit on a post 1965 head?

    I can't speak to the Hillborn stuff specifically, but I cut the water crossover from a 65 four barrel manifold (because that was what I had laying around) to adapt my stock F I unit to the later heads. There's no water to worry about at the rear of the heads (unless you count the heater outlet ******). I should think even if the bolt holes don't line up, machining adaptor plates from aluminum plate (6061 T6 3/8th inch in my case and a couple of hours on a friends bridgeport), using flush head allen heads where needed to bolt the plates to the heads (four center ones for me), with nuts screwed on co**** thread studs threaded/locktighted into the plates where needed, would do the trick. Double gasket the plates (top and bottom) and you're there.
