Here's my new project. it's a basket case, but mostly complete 46 chevy pickup. I got a good deal on it and I got a bunch of extra parts... I have a question about my rear? bumper. it's got some fancy extra stuff.. was this an option or maybe they were from something else and got mixed in at some point? I've never seen anything like them before.

...those look like pass. car wingtips that have been added on. Trucks never had wingtips as an option to my knowledge.
These wing tips won't fit on the front of a '46 without spacing the bumper out away from the front fenders. Either this bumper was on the back, or it was on another car/truck. Bumper looks '40-'46, so I assume the rear of the '46. Cool pieces tho'!
