It's good that you're wowed. I like a well-chopped four door. If you haven't already, you should search here for the thread re another nice four door.

 

Gorgeous. Something wrong with a car that big being that sleek. Absolutely beautiful.

 

Wylie Shane put that same car up saying he chopped it? It was 6 front and 8 rear as I remember. I take it you know him?

Well Jim Beam sux the MOST of anyone here one the HAMB. Ever.

Why? Cuz Im jealous of his recent 51 Merc aquisition. You ****!!!! Raffmans Merc is where its at, and I expect to see update shots of the car...I only wish it was in my garage!

But yeah man, I was totally cool before but if ur gettin pumped on your own work, you did a great job it seems but that window is way far up. Ive never seen a 4 door biz coupe, and havent wanted to. That is a nice low roof tho for a 4 dr.

 

And FYI if you want to see the best chopped 4 drs...in my opinion it goes like this...Back Street Boys video for "The Call", The Halloween Merc (Bad Bob knows the car....the car sux but the chop is ****ing killer) and thats as far as I know about it.

I have a chopped 4 door Merc in my shop for gl*** right now. I think the V between the door tops should be welded to the front door to give it a clean line and won't affect the operation of either door

 

The Merc in the BB video belonged to a friend of mine who p***ed away a couple of years ago. They paid him like 20k to use it for 3 days in the video. His son now owns it and its in AZ somewhere I believe Kingman.

 

Looks like ya are keeping it in a rented storage unit? Hows that workin for you? I've been thinking about something like that...
