My buddy found a 58 Edsel 2 door hardtop (hasn't bought it yet) but I thought I'd find some pics for him of customs, hot rods, g***ers, etc. thanks!
there's a *****in custom one around here called the "sledsel" that's owned by a guy at a local shop. it's converted to a big "elcamino" style and has some really cool mods done to it. i don't have any pics unfortunately
i love this wagon. so ***s, hope fully someone will postpics of the peach and black wagon as well. i've always dug edsel and have a soft spot for wagons so these both get my juices flowing. matt
Dangler,that 58wagon is gorgeous mate Saw in a norwegian (i think)car sale mag 'veteran biler' a ford skyliner that'd had certainly an edsel front ends' sheetmetal put on it,possibly the rear too.......looked kinda factory,worked real well
Here is my Sledsel, she is my family Blvd. Bomber. I've got 3 yungins so 4 doors is good for me. This is how she sits now. This is what I'm planning. I would like to bag her too.
Im glad to see some love for Edsels! Ive been after one for awhile.... and I hope to build myself one before too long!
Better late than never I suppose. Here's mine. It's all original outside, paint and everything, but it's all new under the hood. It has a built 390 with 3 Holley 94's now. Got the original trans rebuilt, now i just need to figure out the Teletouch and get that working again.
Dangler...I LOVE that wagon...color, stance, wheels, blah, blah, blah. It is truly bad a**! Great job!!
this is the wagon i built for my Wife. 58 9 p***enger. 970ish total production. all stock cept for lowered and shaved rear handles.
Not sure how I missed this one , I love your wagon Dangler and Im going to have to steel your missing center grill idea for my car as that looks perfect . Ratty58 I saw yours on cardomian with the new 20" , that should help get some of the younger growd liking thses Edsel so maybe less well get crushed, good job.
