That TV is very art deco and very, very cool. What kind of wood did you use? What did you finish it with. Some stainless or br*** trim would really set it off.
The show is getting better every week. Here's a few things I talked Tom from VLV into letting me do for him (with the help of Dennis at O'Brien Truckers of course...) There are only 50 of each of the plaques, so if anyone is heading to Vegas this weekend, you better get 'em quick! 100 keychains, and another 50 openers (without the plaque) will be for sale too. The graphic is the tee design I did for him. Not sure what color he ended up printing it in...

Thanks to all contributors for making this great show! I really enjoy it. Janne: Brilliant as usual, both the designs and the execution. Tingler; Clysdale: Super! Meteor: Thanks for giving me my dose of -57 Ford. It's real nice. TKuhl: That TV made my day! Thanks for showing it! I LOVE IT. Heres my son Vincents first Tiki. He's 5 years old and says "It's very old, it's an An-Tiki". Sorry if its OT.

Good show all! Snow here. Work, too. so this is what I decided to do about it. Whooped this out for today's show. Based in a shot of a car known as Nanook, I present,..."Nanookish." First the sketch Then the colored sketch
I could be wrong, but I don't think "Big Daddy" would have liked seeing Finky flippin' the bird.........
After Tech Week, I decided to try the br*** etching thing, I saw the post, read it and decided that looks easy as hell! So I gathered up all the materials and some beer and gaver it a shot one night. Well, it's not easy as hell. It definitely takes some patience and a lot of technique I don't have. After 8 try's here what I finally ended up with. Not to mention the wife didn't appreciate her Iron out in the garage and me cooking "acid" on the stove. They're for the "Long Beach House Of Rust" BYC

Here are a couple of pictures of my first airbrush project that I did. I got a wild hair up my but one summer sunday and decided to try and paint some flames on our garage wall. I didn't think it was to bad for my first time. The only kind of paint I had was acrylic paint and you can't really get the colors or effect that you are looking for. I thought it was pretty cool though, better than just plain wood.
I guess I should correct myself from my last comment. What I painted is supposed to be fire, not flames. Sorry guys getting used to the new lingo!!
heres a lunar rover that i just finished. it was a project sponsered by NASA and yes those are real moon discs! thanks mooneyes!
Thanks all for the support! Sounds like i better get crackin and finish a handfull of em up......we are still playin with woods and finishes, my dad has one in his bedroom that is about the opposite in color combo, and i think so far i like the darker mahogany look way better. The next week off i get i will head up there to hammer out some more. In the mean time, i am thinkin of following the etching tech article and doing a name plate.
