So my mate Elvis Jay busted a push rod in his 392 Hemi powered 35 Plymouth Coupe on his way from the Round-Up to Vegas and needs to get his ride home to Vancouver, Canada. He's looking for a piggyback between these cities... Vegas to Mojave Mojave to Bakersfield Bakersfield to Sacramento and then he's gonna limp it home from there vis Seattle. So if you know anyone along the way that might be able to help on any leg of his journeY, please contact me and I can give you contact info. Jay's in Vegas till Tuesday so hopefully we can help a brother out. -Dribs
Why not buy a pushrod for a 392 Hemi? Don't tell the parts store kid that its a 392 in a 35 Plymouth 'cause he'll tell you the computer doesn't list a 392 in that car, or that the computer doesn't go back to '35 cars.
I'm comming up on friday and have a pushrod out of a 354 if that will work.if not let me know and I can bring the car trailer and get him to bakersfield.
Well he fabbed up a push rod that got him from the Round Up to Vegas but he reckons the lobe on the cam is flat too, so he doesn't want to push the motor if he doesn't have to. Here's he details if anyone's down there that might be able to help. He's a really cool guy so any help would be greatly appreciated.
