What's upcoming for shows/swap meets in Central Texas? I know I missed LSR, but plans we're trumped by a buddy needing help with his boat... So, what's on the slate for Central Texas in the coming months? Also, what are some good swap meets other than the North Texas swap meet in Arlington? Thanks, Jon D.

The Coastal A's and Rods has their show in Corpus on Memorial Day weekend. Not exactly central Texas but a trip to the coast ain't so bad and the show gets better every year. The show is held at the Holiday Inn Airport. Rooms are reasonable and the attutide is laid back with cruses to the bayfront and around town. Come on down!!
Can y'all get me more info on the New Braunfels show? Memorial Day Weekend we'll be moving into the new house, putting Corpus and SA out of commission... We'll be in CC the 25-27th, but the only thing I know of going on that weekend is the boat show at the T-heads. Is there any where folks meet up? I may be able to con my girlfriend and parents into eating out Saturday night and while they eat, I'll get to walk around and look.... Thanks for the info, y'all, I appreciate it. Now that I'm taking a break from the off-road hobby, I'm hoping by the end of the summer I'll have a good idea of what I want to build... Later, Jon D.
Well you may be in luck because we have a drive-in here named Snapka's and it's located on Leopard Street. On the last Friday of each month all the locals and some from out of town, meet there for burger and beer. Lots of hot rods and motorcycles and the food is pretty good too. You can make it on the 25th. If you're going let me know and we'll meet up. There are some other HAMBers there also.
