Amazing how cars don't turn to dust everywhere when sitting outside.

Well, we cuss the Kansas wind but it is a friend to sheet metal. And the car is not rust free. Just real solid and not much rust.

It would be a shame to waste it building a belly-dragging, lot-lizard, "shock rod".

I'd have a hard time cutting much on that car. Ford's designers really knew their ****.

A dropped axle & reversed eye springs is about all that one needs.

Great find. Hope I can find one close to that nice one day. Just when it seems like they are all gone, another pops up.

I say drive it if it's not too much trouble. That way you get a feel as to how the original A drove way back when. Video and record it for later and after you make a hot rod out of it you can make another video comparing the two. That would be priceless. Have fun with it. It's an opportunity of a life time and when you're in that rockin' chair in your "golden years" you can whip out the video and show it to the grand kids. That would be a great do***entary and many people would love to see it.

Good find!! Sure beats the overpriced stuff around here.

    That's a just right A-Bone. Dropped axle, 16's, rev eyes: you're done.

And they threw in the extra roof, too :D Maybe that helped save the floor.

What about the open car behind it? Packard? That's something:cool:

  18. Was that at the Liberty auction? Nice score.

The extra roof sold to a lady separately for $300. The car next to it was a '25 Buick roadster that was not for sale. This was at the Lincoln, KS auction. About 800 registered bidders and a 2 day sale. Buyers from nationwide.
