Incredible job with some really kewl features that set it apart from others. The time you did this was awesome and the final product is top notch that any builder would be proud to have done. Congrats big time
Man, I like that look. The side pipes are a nice touch. I'm with a few of the others, I like those hood side panels in the build-up pics. 283 probably makes gas when ya' go down the road.
dig the windshield, the wheel/tire combo, the grill, hell the whole thing looks great. we need some dirt flying action shots though
I haven't followed this build close enough. I had dinner with Whitey and Pops and we were talking about your modified and I asked if Whitey got to see it and how it was coming along. I was amazed to hear it was rolling. Not because I doubt your skills. I just assume everyone is as SLOOOOOOOw as I am... Bring it to Dewey.
The modified roadsters that work are the ones that front to back top to bottom carrry a consistent theme. Man you hit it. Very nice work. The FOGGER
Like Justin B said, we need some shots of it with the tail hanging out, slinging dirt and a cloud of dust. Good job and thanks for taking us along for the build. Congrats. Frank
Congrats on getting it done. I've been watching this since I first saw a pic of that windscreen. It really sets a theme for your car. Nice photos too. They show your mod doesn't have a bad angle. I am off to the shed now...(head hung low) Pete
Yes Dewey is the Stray Kat 500.... Several of us Torques are making this for the first time and can't wait... Gonna road trip the mod ?????
Really neat little car! I like the engine-turned air cleaner top. Can you tell us what size tires are on there? The car has a really nice stance! Nick
I want to build somethin like this but there's this green stuff called money and I don't have any.....dang it. Nice ride BTW.
Great car. Are those Firestone 16" dirt track tires mounted on stock '35 wires? I looked on Coker today, and they don't list that tire in 16".
