Upcoming Shows/Events in Milwaukee Area

Anyone know if there is any local car shows happening soon?? I know we have Jefferson soon but what about all the smaller shows?? Thanks

 

There's the boondockers show in Concord a couple weeks after jefferson... I think the second weekend of May...

Third weekend in may usually has the Kilte show in oconomowoc on friday, Mercury Club show at the Nite Owl, and waukesha swap and show at the expo center on sunday.

 

I think theres no swap at Expo this year thats what I heard .

Boondockers show in Concord is May 10.

If you are talking about the Madison Classic show at the Waukesha Expo, That is no longer either. Only car event I can think of that is at the Expo is a corvette show June 14-15.

 

Elkhorn is Aug. 2 & 3. That also is a Madison Classic event.

 

Just remembered, May 25 at Pewaukee park.

 

Didn't hear he went to jail???? any more info on that? Yes the dealership bought it out...pissed me off last week when i heard that....was looking forward to going for the first time in 4 years...

Yes, They priced themself out of the picture. Alot of events are leaving or have left the expo. I heard from someone trying to rent the expo for a weekend said that they could rent Jefferson fairgrounds for the whole summer at that price. Don't know if that is true or not.

Look up Wednesday night Classic. They have a cruise night every wednesday at Pistol Petes Resturant on Lisbon Rd. in Brookfield. Also they have a calender of events that has something going on almost every day or night if you are in the cruise night thing.

For actual decent swap meets, they seem to be dying out. We still have Iola the second weekend of July. Not exactly close but still pretty good.

 

haven't missed Iola for about 18 years....made the 1000 miles each way from atlanta when i lived there....we'll be camping like usual.

cruise in's are usually boring...

anyone know of a good breakfast place to maybe start a wisconsin 'hamb and cheese' meetings? once a month or so??

I have only missed one Iola show since I started going when I was 14. I will be 43 in about two weeks. The only one I missed was when the local garage had an auction and brought all new equipment when they moved down the street. I brought almost everything, tire machine, analyzers, alignment rack and alot more. One of the more expensive auctions I've been to but worth it to me.

I agree on the cruise scenes, not for me. I try to attend the boondockers cruise in but I know alot of the participants and it is close to me. I don't mind cruising around the small towns or the country but I try to stay out of any bigger cities.

 

Anything for Jack....
plus i still owe you some spankings......for your b-day, maybe we can take turns.....

we need to find a cool place for breakfast........pump house, some might not like it there, but Jack and i would....

Wayns Drive inn on Thursday nights in Cedarburg...real cool, lots of cars and great if you have kids

You also have Gus's Drive-In, a cruise every sat. night in East Troy, The Wis. Dells show in May, 2nd weekend I think!

I've never made it there yet. My neighbor told me about it. He goes down there quite often with a red and black '56 ford.

NWTC 22nd annual auto club , car show and swap meet... Green Bay.... May 4th.... 10 a.m. to 4p.m..... This has been a good one cause its the 1st one of the year and the boys want to show what they worked on all winter

 

I dabble in real estate and didn't here about it until this thread that it was sold so I checked the courthouse records and shows it wasn't sold as of yet but if it happened very recently it won't show but they only run about a week late in posting sales.

...and Sharon, Wisconsin Model A Day first Sunday in June I believe....
this is for Model A's only but other cars show up and a small swap meet.

There is a show@swap at great lakes dragaway Sunday,Sunday,Sunday May 4 10a.m to 5p.m. It's the first one of four this year.I hope i'm on the road by then! Later.

 

Thanks Mark, just called and they are open, the 'hussy' said it's usually the 3 friday in may, so its still open and there WILL be a car show.

Also Mark may have a cool place for a breakfast meeting....details to follow....

Also there should be a cheater kissing booth for anyone that might what to kiss or..... with a cheater...Jack should be heading that up
