    Hi everyone,

I'm starting to get things together for my build this summer, but I came across something that might be an issue.

If I choose to build a double-Z frame with an 8BA and 3-speed gearbox, will there be any issues with the ****** mounts?

I'm just wondering this because the engine will be sitting much higher on the front part of the Z, and the K member would be lower in the central part of the frame. Maybe i'm not conceptualizing this properly...has anyone done this before in their model A?

I have a 4" Z in the front of my frame with an 8BA and a T-5, I had to use a 4"drop crossmember for the trans. The flathead sits very low in the frame, unlike say a smallblock wich sits a little higher, so you should have no problems. I used ch***is engineering mounts for the motor, and a speedway trans Xmember.

    Thanks a lot!

I'll try and get it to work soon, just waiting for some garage space to free up
