    Buy it !!! If you don't you'll regret it later on . Don't let it die a lonely death .Get it under some kind of roof and save it for tradin material.

    Buy it! That thing is mint compared to some of the hulks that have been rescued. I like the chopped panel van version best in your drawings.

    I think the 2 door conversion with a blower sticking through the hood Gasser style would be wicked. No matter which version you might like that car is definitely worth saving IMHO........

    Get the car. This is one of those opportunities to be different. To have a car that isn't a Ford or a Chevy. It's a car that the restoration crowd can't knock you for working some magic, especially when you're grabbing the car from the jaws of the crusher. And the items that you mentioned that are missing can be sourced from the hot rod aftermarket. Sure, there are a few things that will be tough (like those headlamps :D), but nothing that can't be overcome.

    A trunk/boot lid for this Hupp just popped up for sale on EvilBay - at a price, but never seen another for sale.

    Kym Cramer built one of these and chopped it in Oz a few years back.
