I don't know if these will help anyone or not, but I have posted a bunch of pictures of the crooked 6 as we were building it. Might help with some ideas or better yet, show someone how NOT to do it! http://picasaweb.google.com/sgtmcd/HambDragster
Hi Shawn, that's a real nice picture album, I still wonder what your time would have been on that last run if you had not let up at the 1000 ft. and still turned a low 13. Mokan was fun.
I think the pics are great, they help me with some of my questions I have on the building of a HA/GR . Thinking about starting our build, my grandson and I. Thanks JerryE
Mr. Hamby, I believe that I met and chatted with you at the drags last year. Hopefully you will have yours at this years drags?? Shawn, even without the "Crooked Six", hope to see you there again also. Robert
Shawn's car will be there this year but with a different engine. When I was just into cars and had a flathead powered car, there was saying out " Six in a row don't go. There are some of us want to make that a lie. I was going to paint the car but I wanted it recognizable as the winner of last years HAMB nationals and paint might be next year. If Shawn is there maybe he can take it down the track again. Roy
Roy, look forward to meeting you there. As far as I know, I will be there with my car again this year. I look forward to seeing all the new cars and the old ones as well. Robert
Hi REJ, We did chat at Mokan, I was the fat guy with the straw hat, If you will send me an E-Mail I will send one back with a picture of my HA/GR , it is also a slant 6. Joe
