    wow

I just recently had to snatch my neighbors 17 year old son up by the neck because he decided to get in my face when I told him to stop throwing shit in my back yard over their fence.

They called the cops. The cops reminded them that he was on my property and ran towards me. If I wanted to....I could of beat him down in my driveway and gotten away with it considering the witnesses involved.

Go easy when you're dealing with minors man. But don't back down and make sure you have witnesses.

I read the initial post, but skipped to the end to post this info. My apologies if someone else has already stated this.

Without an eyewitness, the DA will not file. He needs to prove beyond a reasonable doubt for criminal proceedings. However, a civil victory (in small claims) requires a preponderance of the evidence. Since you names and can track them down (to serve) it might be worth an afternoon in court to see if a judge sees this incident just as coincidental as you do.

  3. Nads, wtf is wrong with you, are you saying if these punks sliced your tires you'd move....hmmm, I hope these little fuckers move to your area, maybe you can get up early in the morning and take a 1/2 day off work to fix sliced tires, heck, maybe they might come back and slice the new ones since you obviously are not going to do anything to them......

And Im a drama queen for venting, and asking for advice, my god, did I wrong you in a past life or something because your always riding my ass, geez every board has to have a doom and gloom gus I guess its you....you know you didnt have to open this post up, SO why did ya??????

AND....Yes it may be a little over the top for a $12 sign from Lowes, BUT, the rest of the story is this: both of my my GTOs have been broken into twice(and its cheaper to let the doors unlocked then to look for glass), my girl friends tires were sliced last year by some other jerk offs(she got a whopping $60 back at $20 a check), our flower garden has had bicycles riden thru it, and when those tulips make their way to full bloom they get picked off to and from school by students who think its ok, my Flags have been stolen off my porch, as well as a 55 Radiator I set out for a friend to pick up, and hile they were at it they picked up the aluminum Z28 wheels I let out for my brother(Oh and I did this because I was outta town helping a friend with his project), my knee wall out front now has a nice beveled edge thanks to the scooter/skate boarders of the area who feel its ok to "grind" on the bricks, then the 55 gets keyed and that was my breaking point!
So yes, it was a cheap old flimsy ass sign, BUT IT WAS MINE, and I have put up with way to much shit in the past 2 years and yes, it led to 4 tires being slashed....but I guess it could have been worse they could have destroyed my 55......

I did make it up to talk to the Father today. He was shocked and told me he would get to the bottom of it. He then called me an hour later, and said it made him sick, and he took the rest of the day off to find out what went down. Hes currently at home awaiting thier arrival.
So hopefully it will all work out, thanks for the support and the ideas.

Fuck dude. Why the hell didn't you say that before?

    Nevermind my last post...

    Time for justice.

  5. See, I would have just lied to the police and say I'd seen them doing it. There's a good chance once the cops get them arrested and start asking about the other slashings, one of them will slip up and admit something and then they're all screwed.

  6. Thats crap.....I made sure that they all knew I had cameras around the house and I have laser sites on two of my guns........rememeber John the famous line from the movie casino." there's a whole lotta holes in this desert!".....its always more effective to let them fear you than like you!!!

Zackly. You should take this qualm to the "Why Didn't I Just Load the Paint Ball Gun with Frozen Ammo Instead of Calling the Cops" message board instead. But since we're already on it, do what I did with the lawless shits that "used" to terrorize my 'hood: Leave your side gate open with your (enter viscious dog of choice) unleashed whenever appropriate. Turns out African American kids in SoCal don't much care for black Chows...but better yet, vise-versa.

Piss Poor Parenting is an epidemic. Cameras have become a must, it will eliminate the he said she said crap. I think Georgia has passed a law similiar to Texas on the whole protecting your property Charles Bronson style. But the question was" is it worth it?". That is something that everyone has to decide on a case by case personal basis. You never know what you're going to do until you are in those shoes, anyone who claims otherwise is full of shit. I hope your situation improves, if it doesn't and you have to smoke one of these fools, I hope you get away with it.

I would have a cop go to the kids house and tell them to go to you and apologize or youd sew. Or just sew anyway. Im no lawyer but i think you have sufficient grounds to win. That would get the parents off their asses anyway

Sometimes a firmly delivered warning, in language they will understand and making sure there are no witnesses around, can get this sort of foolishness to stop.

I hate hearing about these sorts of problems.

I have had things like this go on in my area for years. We have one or two summers where we watch everything and are calling the cops, then it will quit. The kids have moved away and its calm for a year or two. The people here are getting more and more ghetto/gang like.

Wrist rockets and cameras are a good choice.
If you see him near your house call and say your concerned about a kid looking in car windows etc. They will look for him. Every time you get a chance call on him or his friends.
Spend some time out in the yard late. Plan on 2 A.M. and later. I have run people out of my neighbors back yard checking his bike out, looking in car windows.
Also maybe get a bigass dog and leave him out at night. It will help you sleep.
I know what its like to jump out of bed every time I hear a noise or have people pass by late on the sidewalk.
My neighborhood sucks and its getting worse. I cant move right now so I have to stick it out.

    Ha Ha! California says "W.T.F.?"

    Check it out, mains...

in the unlikely event I go outside tonight and some dipshit is breaking into my car, I can LEGALLY dust his ass off with my trusty 12 guage, reguardless of age, color, personal accountability, what color laces are in his boots, weather or not it is a national holiday, or someone told him it was "okay" to do it because his mommy didn't love him enough when he was a kid.
You fuck with someones stuff in Texas, we can shoot you. Be it a 12 dollar "for sale " sign, or my both priceless and worthless cars. You fuck around and wanna play "criminal", then you can be treated as one at the smoky/firey end of a peice of mossbergs finest.

    addendum-
however, if you beat someone to death with a baseball bat, that takes far too much time, and you had time to think "Holy crap! I'm working up a sweat beating this guy to death!" and that's a bit of a no-no.
easier to just shoot 'em. bang! Dead, "Gee officer, I thought he had a slingshot" and you're done.

To all you wannabe Charles Bronsons out there, I think if I killed someone's child over some tires and a sign I'd have a very hard time living with myself.

I think that depends on the brand of tire.

    Not the point, Hombre!
once it became apparent that folks in Texas can and will shoot you in the keyster for playing cat burgular with thier car stereo's, the bad guy bullshit slowed waaaay down.

yes, shooting someone over a yard sign is retarded, but no more so than risking your life for one, capische? and in the end, it's not really about any of that. it's about the very ability to protect yourself.

I'm not John Wayne, but I wouldn't lose much sleep over killing someone for Me and Mine.

But I am an odd sort of fellow like that, I guess. I feel very little remorse for acting like a Man should act.

Who says you can't fire a couple blanks to scare the crap out of them or a few pepper rounds to make a point (in texas).

  27. I was always cool to the kids on my block; help them fix their broken bicycles, gave them helmets when they started riding motorcycles, etc. For some reason, my house never got tagged like the other houses did.

    Damn son.

it's this simple. You NEVER point a gun at something you don't intend on killing. It's a GUN for fucks sake. It has no other use. What happens when you pop off a few blanks and they shoot back with ACTUAL BULLETS?

for that matter, why not go out there in your smoking jacket and slippers and tap them on the shoulder and say "Say old chap, while you're STEALING MY FUCKING WHEELS, would you be so kind as to check under the seat for a quarter I dropped under there? That would be so kind of you. what's that you say? You are going to smash my cranium with my own tire Iron? Heavens."

If they were innocent, they would ring the doorbell.

Pepper rounds? You must mean Rocksalt.Fuck that. If I'm shooting, it isn't at someone who was weeding my garden at 2 a.m.

Kentucky has a law similar to Texas, in that if you think your life is in danger you can shoot. We also have a concealed carry deadly weapon permits. It's nice to know some punk can "Make Your Day". More states need to come on line with the concealed carry permits. Punks think twice if you may be carrying heat. It's a proven statistic it cut down violent crime.
