just got back from vegas and it was a damn good show with some quality rides,i think the shifters nailed this years show,it was impressive,it was well organized and i really didnt see any ********,just good rides and people enjoying what they do.the turn out was great and i would aggree there were about 250 cars,i noticed a **** load of caddys, they were all out this year which was great, also metal flake roofs were very popular some quality flake was present. The good thing was that the casino had 24 hr security for the cars so NO ONE could screw with them when the show was over, you could not get near the cars at night the guard had some big *** mace can waiting for ya.
That's my baby! A HUGE thanks to Axle and the Shifters for giving my car the award for best hot rod. I still have a smile on my face
that flatty? with the headers pointing up...too cool...easy to solve the steering issues...need more info...thanks for the pics
thats my buddy johnny's ride. Its a 47 plymouth with a 46 packard grill that he added a few months back. when He bought it, it was already chopped. He had to re-chop it and he added a 37 hudson? rear window. The week of the show he installed the skirts and added a piece to make the rocker panels smooth. He was saying he wants to paint it a maroon/burgundy color. should be really neat when its painted..
Cool photos, thanks for posting. Does anyone have any other photos of that '27 T with the SBC and the A grille shell? Cris
That is a great looking car. I just has that look that moves me - very nicely done! The stance, chop, finish and character are perfect.
Uh,when you get "good",I'm really looking forward to your shots! Take a bullhorn next time. THANKS FOR SHARING,THOSE WERE GREAT!
Thats Hudson Joe's car out of riverside CA. He bought that body off a friend of mine. It is supposed to have been an old lakes car from at least the late 50's-early 60's. It has an old handpainted road runner on the back. Axle probably knows more about the car. He's got lots of wwII aircraft parts on it. Its really spot on!
