Hung out with Larry on his birthday and delivered some of his stuff. We delivered stuff to this guys warehouse and I took some pics. He started collecting in 1963 and I dont remember him saying he paid more than $1500 for any of the cars except the spint car. The Buick sedan was his aunts she bought in 1934 and has stayed in the family and has the original paint. The little model A has been cut every way you could cut one and stuffed with a V8-60 and mounted on a Crosley ch***is.

Someday I would love to get a tour of the cigar factory. Looks like tons of cool stuff to see. There's an old furniture store in my hometown that I'm hoping to buy in the next couple of years, has been empty for about 20 years. Would like to put together a collection like this (although probably not with all the stuffed animals!)

    Any more pictures?

Wow what a neat and eclectic hoarding complex.. And I'm not just speaking about the building.

Why doesn't he just buy some die cast metal cars? .... they would serve the same purpose collect just as much dust as well.

Why is the price of vintage tin on the rise? Why are not more younger people who love vintage cars involved in this?

    I'm sure this helps.

The flat tired t-bird's (plural) makes me wanna puke.

Chuck E. Cheese should get back to work and put some air in those tires and maybe drive some of those cars.

    Great post by the way.

I'm glad I went along with Larry to this guys warehouse there were things I have never seen before. This guy was is out of control when he starts collecting something. He had hundreds of music boxes and pipe organs and everything worked. I was told he had a sale years ago and sold about forty trailer loads. He bought this Pierce Arrow truck from a farmer which had a bus back which is pictured and a flat bed he would change it out to for farming. I just couldn't amagine changing the back of this truck out. In the one pic is an airplane and why did he have it, just because he didn't have one. If people aren't going to let their things go then I'd rather see it in a warehouse then sinking into the dirt in the woods.

soon this may be the only way to see old cars as they are slowly becoming politically incorrect.
