What are the rules concerning fenders in this state? I'm working out some details for another project and want to avoid "Problems".
Seems you live in GA..why not call your local DMV or even better go to the state web site and look on the Laws on this issue. good day...
As far as I know there are no fender laws in this state but I have never checked with the DMV but I have a 32 hi boy roadster I've been drivin for almost 2 years and I've never been stopped and I'm buildin a hiboy sedan also have lots of freinds runnin hiboys and none of them ever had a problem with the law. Hope this helps
Been to the website. Not as good as Floridas. FL put "The book" on the web. I will go to DMV when I get back there. In FL at the moment.
I live about four miles from the Marietta square. I used to live in Hiram your about 30 to 40 minuntes from me.
No Georgia laws concerning fenders to my knowledge,,I live in South Carolina ,,,,8 miles from the GA. line. I have known some of my friends for 30 plus years over there and most of them have owned a fenderless car at one time or another,,,,,,,,Never heard of any problems. Georgia does have a blue dot law,as does South Carolina. but, rarely inforced. HRP HRP
Georgia hambers.... you maybe gettin another hamb person to your fine state. any good shows/swaps in the fall? heard something about a show at a drive inn over labor day...any info would help!

if all goes as planned i'll be down there in oct. but plannin on heading down in the 54 for labor day, already have the friday before and tues after off work., nothing like taking a 12 hr road trip in her. PLEASE post or PM me with any info on the invasion is there much for weekly car shows, swap meets???
will do with the info when available. always car shows and cruises around, lotsa gold chainer stuff, some traditional as well. the best place to find out about them if you're in town is the friday atlanta journal,in the wheels section. may be available on line.
You can check out the road kings web site for info it is suppose to be updated in the next couple of weeks about the show.
How about a Sunday cookout at one of the local parks or day-use areas? You can reserve a shelter w/ a grille and adjacent parking for a six -eight hour stretch. I'd suggest the Sweetwater Creek State Park, near exit #41 on I-20W., or the Cooper's Furnace Day Use Area on Lake Alatoona, near Cartersville, near exit #288 on I-75N. That would be one way to avoid the gold-chainers
hey i'm up for a cookout/ get together. let's set something up. hey******6 chuck i will see you in bowling green. we will be in my wagon.........ron

I'm supposed to come down ya'lls way around Aug. for a GA mini trucker gathering, we're supposed to be hanging with "some old hot rodder guys", wonder if this is the same thing? They said these guys meet at some parking lot once a month. Anywho, If I see any primered rod's I'll stop and say hey, I will leave the mini across the parking lot as to not embarase the HAMB'rs amongst the crowd The 61 is so far from being road worthy, I cant even attempt to get it down there in time.
