I have a '54 2dr hardtop that's about 85% done sitting in my garage, and a killer motor/trans sitting in the garage as well. The motor is ready to drop in, but spring got me into the yardwork thing, and home repairs, etc, and I've lost my focus. I'm having a tough time getting back into the swing of things! I need some motivation again! Someone PLEASE give me something that will get the hot rod bug back into my shorts..... Big Mac

Hey - quit whining! I survived 6 solid months of ice and snow just itching to get out and turn wrenches on my Chevy or any number of projects. The sun has finally arrived and the thaw has begun! Wouldn't you know I slipped on the last sheet of ice in my driveway two weeks ago and broke my fucking leg?! Get out there and borrow some of my motivation - it's not doing me any good fantasizing about busted knuckles and grease under my nails lying on the couch in a drug induced stupor with my foot up. Turn some wrenches for me, man. You're soooo close to driving the fruits of your labors.
Gigantor, you have a point. I'll quit whining and get to work. Hopefully, I'll have pics I can post of the FINISHED CAR within a month or two. That said, if Garagerods has any more "motivation" he wants to post, it certainly won't hurt.....
I dont know about you,,,,, BUT I just painted 6 cars on my block flat black with a red roof,,,,,cant wait till the neighbors get home. BIG MAC, Get one of yer buddys to do a big nasty burnout in the street,,,,that always helps me. Later.
I went thru that mode a couple of time but if u just do alittle here and there it'll help. plus it sure sounds good when you fire it up for the first time leaning over the fender pulling on the throttle revin up the motor sure is a good feeling. There wouldn't be much work gettin done with a hot chick in the garage, well not the work to help the progress of the vehicle.
Definitely not as exciting as the posts above.... but the old Nike saying "Just Do It" is really all there is to it. Just do it!!
well shit what about me? i have some pretty severe motivation issues, and frankly boobs just don't do it for me. how bout nice boy with mutton chops and hot tattoos and the wheel of say a 1950 Cadillac? this business is bad for girls, tons of hot women (though usually they don't do anything except stand around and look pretty) and not to many good looking men. well at least that make into photographs
