Who in the St. Louis area wound be intrested in tig welding lessons? and what do you guys think is a fair price is? They will probably be one day a week for an 1 1/2 to 2 hours. and would start a round 7pm or so during the week. Will cover steel, stainless and aluminum. just kicking the idea around, if i can get a group together i might start as early as May. I have two tig welders in the shop. Feel free to call me at the shop for more info.

Get your lessons while you can. REDDOG tig'd up a frame for my "T", the welds could not be any better. Could not go wrong taking lessons from him.

Reddog is a hell of a welder, jump on this chance even if you think you can't afford a tig welder go get your hands dirty, the same principals apply to gas welding too so if you only have a have a torch this would be a good chnce to learn from a heck of a fabricator

I'd be interested depending on the price, since I'm a **** broke mother****er.
But really once you decide on a price(I have no idea what lessons are worth) I can see if I can come up w/some cash. Hell I make the kid pay for it since he always use to hit me up for cash & now it's his turn... lmao...joe

also if you have something you would like welded, bring it, im not going to do it for you, but i will work with you till you can do it your self,

get your spot booked, i am looking at 4-6 guys, once the slots fill up i might add another night, i will have cokes and snackes,

Put me down for the cl***. Is it alright to pay you that night??
If so, all I need to know is the date & where.

As for the rods the only way I can find them is in a pack of 10 for about $50. If all we'll need is one then I'd be more then happy to sell the rest to anyone who needs some at cost....joe

I so wish we had something like this here in T-town or somewhere nearby. I'd gladly pay - or work on someone else's busy work - to get better welding experience. It'd even help me justify buying a welder as well.
