sick ride. my papa has the same model sitting out in his yard and i wanted it for a long time but i went out and touched the fender and it just crumbled underneith the pressure. its a crying shame too my papas has that car sense he was young, he even put a home made duly on the back (he welded the two rims together and bolted it on as if it were one tire) so he could drive it on the beach.
but yeah i vote green that'll look slick

welp, since im still waiting on suspension parts ive decided to work on the firewall. the goal here is to create a clean slate so i can put the things where i want or need them, ultimatly tho i would like to try and put nothing on the outer firewall.
The first pic shows the hacks of the previous owner. hastiness and poor craftsmanship is my only guess why someone would remove a piece of metal by drilling holes and leaving the mess, which by the way had wires running through it and had been completly frayed...firehazard!!

And in this pic i now have my clean slate but i will be doing the same thing to the other side too.

I still need to repair the bottom half of the supports, they were cut so the steering column from a buick(i think) would fit in there...sheesh!

and im back,...had some crazy stomach flu that put me out a week but got back in the shop and knocked out some work. finished the notch i ordered from gambinos kustoms, which was too easy! i like it.. ordered slam bags and just waitin on them before i continue the rear. and today was a good day cuz i finished all the metal work needed to repair the firewall just as my IFS from nolimit showed up today! so i'll finally get started on that. welp, pics:

The camera makes the work look worse than it really is in person i think.

welp, this week im going to start installing the IFS and hopefully lay some mud on the firewall as i find time.

yea i hope you don't change the blue...I like that alot...

the stainless polished look is also pretty trendy too. it goes well with the dirty/rustic look on the inside. ;)
