I almost have it done, just hammering out the details. Here is a shot of the windshield frame that I built out of 3/4" square tubing and 3/4" x 1/8" flat stock. The rear view mirror is a '48 Anglia piece. The side view mirror has a Ford insignia on it, but I am not sure what it originally came on. It was free, and I like the way it adjusts with the knob. The steering wheel was cut out of flat 1/8" stock, and the end pieces are .065 x 1" round tubing. The center cap is off a '67 Ford pickup. There is more engineering in mounting the center cap than building the wheel. The third brake light was bought a a trucker store, it looks right at home. The floor piece was made to make actuating the brake and gas pedal easier. You brake with your heel, and accelerate with your toe.
imwith chadillac on the death of the mirror.. too clunky.. but some cool details and a cool car for sure
