99 inch wheelbase

    I have a 27 ford frame with a 99 inch wheelbase, Im looking for a coupe body for it, does anyone know the average wheelbase for most coupe bodies

    think a model a is around 103 ish..... and 106-07 ish on a 32..... brandon:D

    A model T frame is pretty flimsy. You would be better off making up one from scratch or using a later one that matches the body you end up with. A model A frame is a bit better but still needs boxing in most cases, but it's flat like the "T", so putting a older body on it would not be too hard unless you decide to Z it etc. I believe the wheelbase numbers quoted above are correct, or very close. You can change the wheelbase by using spring behind setups in front or back.

    Model T stock wheelbase is supposed to be 100 inches, but eighty to 100 years later, it might vary a little. Hell, it varied a little in 1908.

    Thanks for your repley, the frame I have is already boxed in , It under a running car, I think the only thing left on the frame that is origanl is the front suspention. Im was looking for a body of some some sorts to use, it has a wooden body on it now that someone built, they didnt do a bad job but i was wanting a coupe body, thanks again

    I don't know about original wheelbase but mine is a cool 119 "
